Do you want just "Overmeyer Recipes or other recipes from extended family? Dad had a killer recipe for Clam Chowder. Mike Miller 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

You can send us any recipe(s) your family enjoys. We used the the cook book idea to get people talking to their families, to have a way to connect about the reunion. The main idea is to collect the stories that go along with family gatherings, which most often includes good food! That can be recipes from the past, distant past, or now. We thought this would also be a modest heirloom folks to take away from the reunion and encourage the sharing of Overmyer family relationships. So Mike the next time I make clam chowder I hope to be using your dad's killer chowder recipe I got from my "Overmyer Cousin" at our reunion. We just inspired a family memory for me. We one time went to my Aunt Joy's house for Thanksgiving. . .she served clam chowder. I remember the fun we had afterwards while our grandpa took a group photo. Some of the folks in that photo I haven'y seen for 20 years! And I haven't remembered the memory for that long either. Thanks Cousin Miller. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
